I was debating for a while whether or not to even throw this brace on, but I figured why not. It looks to be much higher end than the factory steel tube brace, and also lower profile.
This Racing Beat item has a superior mounting arrangement, with 2 mounting holes on each end and metal backing plates. Installation was easy, just drop the backing plates into the front control arm brackets and align them, then bolt on.
In the picture above, the factory brace is still installed behind the Racing Beat. Having 2 braces in the same area is overkill, which makes the factory one redundant so I took it off.
