Going through deliberate means of hiring a professional to roll my fenders the first time proved futile. The fronts were rolled nice, but on the rears, he didn’t completely flatten the lips. They were more or less curved inwards, which still caused rubbing. Apparently, even though I tried to have it done right the first time, sometimes you still have to do it twice.
The rear fenders were “finished” off yesterday, thanks to a buddy.
Now the lips are flat. The difference may only be a couple millimeters, but it was enough to significantly improve the rubbing and was worth the efforts. Feels good to be able to actually take turns properly, without scraping, rubbing and bottoming out everywhere. Low but not too low, that’s what I call ideal.
