As I arrived home today, I was greeted to a few packages waiting to be opened. I love that feeling.
Some parts to get the Tarmac ridable came in, including a SRAM Force Cassette:
Look Keo2 Max Pedals:
And last but definitely not least, a new Reynolds Strike wheelset:
I really had to splurge to get the Strikes. It made it a little more passable that I ordered the wheelset when I was running off jet lag and had little to no sleep. I just couldn’t say no to full carbon 66mm deep wheels.
The Tarmac still isn’t quite ready to be ridden. I ordered some Continental GP4000S tires from ProBikeKit because they had a deal going on, but they’re from the UK… and I didn’t receive them yet. Plus, I still have to get a pair of clipless riding shoes, and not to mention a helmet.
nice gear you got there man. i need to get my hands on a new bike sometime. i feel that i’m limited to customizing my bike only because it’s vintage. xP trying my best to keep it original.
