Getting a personalized license plate has always been like a lingering itch over the years. I finally decided to pull the trigger on one. For the plate idea, I wanted to avoid the conventional car related play-on-words (i.e., ZYAL8R, 1SIKRX7, and so on) for fear of being too cliché. Although I did think “XPRMNTL” would have been cool and apropos.
Instead, the sophisticated gentleman in me prevailed so I turned to the language of Latin and picked “Obscura”, which loosely translates to “dark” or “mysterious”. It follows the theme that my car is black on black and converted to the “Darkside” with the V8 swap.
