What an ordeal… I had to buy 2 R spoilers and go through 3 paint jobs before I was happy. On the third paint job, I ended up taking the spoiler to a different, painter-owned shop where the guy sanded down the clear coat and redid it. He did a great job and was able to take out all the imperfections that existed previously, finally giving me a product I deemed worthy. Too bad it took so much time and money to get to this point. I was pretty apprehensive when it finally came time to install the spoiler, because I would’ve been back to square one if something didn’t go right. Thankfully, you can almost always count on OEM fitment. <\/p>\n
Alas, my car is finally ready for the roads again and my compunctions mollified. If all goes well, I can now check off the Miata as “DONE<\/strong>“. <\/p>\n
