{"id":1739,"date":"2011-04-03T16:05:37","date_gmt":"2011-04-03T23:05:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/grandmighty.com\/?p=1739"},"modified":"2011-04-23T22:40:56","modified_gmt":"2011-04-24T05:40:56","slug":"grand-mighty-towing-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/grandmighty.com\/2011\/04\/grand-mighty-towing-service\/","title":{"rendered":"Grand Mighty Towing Service"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Friday I was chilling at home after work when I got a call about a downed bike&#8230; so I loaded up the trusty Previa with the essentials (tie-downs, ramp, Baxley chock [the best and only]) and went over to help.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/grandmighty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/streetcrash.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1741\" title=\"streetcrash\" src=\"http:\/\/grandmighty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/streetcrash-600x803.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"803\" srcset=\"http:\/\/grandmighty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/streetcrash-600x803.jpg 600w, http:\/\/grandmighty.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/streetcrash.jpg 747w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the above picture, if you look on the road under the police car, you can see a dark circular shadow&#8230; which is actually a crater\/sinkhole. Riding in traffic + Front Wheel falling into a hole = Bad Day. Just goes to show how quickly and easily something can go wrong when riding on the street. I will save my commentary though.<\/p>\n<p>From what I heard, the rider is okay, nothing serious&#8230; just bruises. Bike faired about the same &#8211; most of the damage was up top around the headlights and some scrapes on the gas tank and rear tail. The fairing-stay did crack and get pushed down, which causes the reservoir on the clutch master cylinder to hit, inhibiting right turns. Easy enough of a fix.<\/p>\n<p>Bike loaded up and off the road.
