It’s amazing to think that we are able to befriend these creatures and keep them as companions. Unlike humans, dogs are not corrupted by the concepts of egoism, cynicism, shallowness, pettiness, etc. Of course, just like people, you have your good and bad… There are dogs with poor temperament and there are the useless ones that maintain a low level function with no greater purpose other than to eat and poop.

I can say I am lucky to have my dog Blue. I know he is loyal and that’s one of the best things you can ask for in this day and age.

People can be quick to discard their allegiances with you. People have side agendas and motives. People lack the understanding of loyalty.

Much like the Ducati Desmosedici, Honda is bringing to the public a street version of their MotoGP bike for the public. With a $184,000 price tag and a limited run of 200 units, it would not have been economical to invest in mass-production tooling and assembly procedures.

Instead, Honda is building these bikes entirely by hand with a small team of specialized workers. The video below gives a look at workshop, I always geek out over stuff like this. Areas of interests include 1:32, the chassis welding and jig; 1:50, the sheet metal shaping for the head stock; and 2:12, everything appears to be hand welded.

Although I gave up my motorcycling days, I still like to dabble in it and observe the trends from time to time.

If you have any interest in car builds and mechanics in general, these series of videos are well worth the watch. While it may start off a bit quirky and slow, get through the first episode and you will quickly find out just how extreme this project is.

The amount of fabrication and chassis work to cram a Celica GT-4’s entire drivetrain into a bucket of an Austin Mini Cooper is impressive. The work may not be full of pretty Tig welds and billet aluminum, but this is craftsmanship and ingenuity at its core.

Start with Episode 1 and watch the rest on YouTube.

Hill climbs provide a great mixture of grip and sideways action. Watching motorsports like this is exciting, I’ve never been partial to dedicated drift events like FormulaD – aside from the odd, short YouTub clip here and there. Pure drifting gets so boring after the initial appeal wears off. Real racing, on the other hand, will never go away or grow old. Just my opinion, anyway.

The E46 M3’s inline-6 engine surely produces a unique exhaust note, one that I’m actually quite fond of. Some people may not like it because it sounds too raspy, but I think the video below demonstrates a flattering example.

And in contrast, this is how NOT to drive a BMW M3.
